Pittsburgh Regional April 30

By Stasy, in Star Wars: Armada Organized Play

So who else is heading to Pittsburgh for the regional this weekend? I was convinced by some of my fellow players on a trip to NJ (and a hell like work schedule the next 3 weeks) to spend the money to travel.

I'm going with low expectations, but hope it's a good time. I mean at the least I can get some Primanti Brothers sandwiches after getting stomped. :D

I haven't decided yet. Biggs and the crew up that way are agreeable gents and Mr. Nice Guy Games is comparatively spacious and I have wanted to see if they'd make an offer on my L5R collection.

I'm just kind of lazy about these things. It will probably depend on how things go at the card game tournament I plan on attending on Saturday. I think I've got my deck straightened out and a good showing will likely result in attending another tourney of that on Sunday involving a later start and considerably shorter drive and better chance of being home in time for Game of Thrones.

And there is that whole getting stomped thing. I'm way out of my depth at this point.

I'll be there, looking forward to some fun matches against new people (coming in from Baltimore).

Stasy, I was one of the guys at the small Massing at Sullust event in York last October, but we didn't end up playing each other there.

Awesome news! I'm going with low expectations going in and I know my next few weeks at work will suck HARD. So I'll suck the marrow of life out of this weekend.

So I'm definitely down for a few beverages and a meal after the gaming is over. :D

I'll be there. Hoping for a set of dice, but I'll be happy to just get three good games in.

Come out early at 10:30 and get breakfast with us.

I'm planning on waking up and rolling before 6am. I might be able to do breakfast at 1030 as long as I make good time.

Looking like we might roll into breakfast even earlier (9:45ish) but still stop by - doors open and registration starts at 11 at the store, but games don't start until noon.

Gonna be a fun day, can't wait to see everyone!

Just wanted to thank again everyone who showed up to the Pittsburgh Regional.

16 players and (I hope) a good time had by all!

I enjoyed breakfast and dinner...

My play, well, that could have gone better on every level.

It was nice to meet everyone!
