So, I managed to pick this game up (and all the expansions) during one of the FLGS winter sales (they still have some stock - meeplemart.com) and WOW.

I had played a lot of Command and Colors Ancients. I enjoyed it. But it always felt like it needed a little more.

The additions of BoW are small, but perfect. The subtle change to the dice. The keywords so that the troops are not all identical. And basing orders on he location of your leaders.
