Do any of the host have unusual accents?

Depends on what you consider unusual. I can tell you that I personally have a very sexy accent, with the only downside being that I'm lying (unless you consider non-regional American dialects sexy). Hopefully our content will make up for the lack of unusual/sexy accents.

Are you keeping it to an hour or less?

That's the plan. We're going to try to keep each episode to an hour or less and intend to release one episode a week. We'll have a more extensive archive of 'casts on our local website (Des Moines Area Xwing) for you to review at your leisure as well as our sponsor's website.

At the moment, we've got three episodes produced with an initial content plan stretching about 8 weeks. If you have any aspects of the game you're curious about or would like us to review, reply to this thread and we'll get it in rotation! This game is so large and there's so much to cover - our group is a great mix of competitive players, newbies, and fluffy-flying veterans so we'll be able to answer your questions from a whole bunch of angles.

If it's an hour or under I'm listening. These 3 hour rambling blabfests are insufferable.

Haha that's something we're hoping to steer clear of. If you want to listen to 3 hours of X-wing talk there's a whole bunch of other podcasts that have you covered. And there's some awesome content on those podcasts!

Our goal is to keep it focused yet detailed so we can get through the basics that you need to get started in this game and grow as a player.
