Ariad is the boss enemy in "caught in a web" but before that she was a lieutenant in the descent game, and there is a mini available for her.

Instead of moving a token around the map I'm going to use my ariad mini, because it will look so much better.

Isn't it a bit big? I notice my Descent minis are a TINY bit larger than most of the things in the box and spider-Ariad is pretty huge!

The space she is on counts as a web, so it and all surrounding hexes require wilds to move into them... so I don't see the mini covering the surrounding hexes being a problem.

As for scale, if you look at the picture on the expansion box then you'll see that a scale mini of ariad would cover the entire board... so the descent mini is definitely not too big.

Looks like they dropped the price a bit, now it's $16.95 each

I'll probably use my Doombringer mini from Battlelore to be Ariel. So what if it is huge.
