Just saw that Runebound is now adding Red Scorpion and Jonas the Kind. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Runebound used previously released Descent minis for the core heroes, and both of these are Descent 1.0 heroes who have yet to be seen in Descent 2.0, right? Does this suggest that these two will be in an expansion or H&M pack soon?

Minis are different sizes so I doubt this. The Runebound ones are significantly smaller than the Descent ones.
The mini would be dwarfed by the standard Descent ones.
Love the idea though, kinda wish they incorporated it that way.

Really? I didn't realize there was a size difference (only own Descent). The pictures I have seen all looked identical. Can you give an estimate of the overall height of the Runebound mini?

Sad that FFG elected to make them different scales, it seems counter intuitive to me. But it is what it is.

It's even more surprising that they're not just smaller, but that they're even different sculpts!
That does seem really odd. From what I understand about the industry, its rather costly to make new sculptures. To make new ones that are only slightly different seems very peculiar to me. I am sure they had some good reason but its lost on me.
In fact this seems like a lost business opportunity. If they had just made totally new heroes and put in descent hero cards they likely would have gotten some descent players to buy runebound and some runeboune players to buy descent.
I wouldn't mind smaller sculpts, if they were battlelore sized.
