Hope it's not Amazon UK you're going to be looking at. They tend to be higher priced than most bricks and mortar stores when it comes to FFG.
I will still do trade in deals but with shipping there is almost 0 reason to buy anything under like $30 at said stores. You save nothing on blisters and it gets better slowly as you go up. Still these places are top notch for epic ships and big large bases like the ghost. I agree with Joe though, my random spending is over and outside store credit it's become 2-3 times a year I will purchase. Barnes and Noble is making out well off me for blisters, hooray for corperate stimulation!

Was there a price increase announced and I just don't see it? The prices seem the same on FFGs webstore and on Amazon right now as they have been?
What did the price go up to? The only future release I see is still priced what other like products have been priced.

No the price hike we saw last month is still in effect. The Ghost and other very large ships are crazy high now, unfortunately. You can now get them for several $$$ cheaper on Amozon.
Kinda makes me sad a little. I used to bust $150 and $200'ish orders at CSINC and MM every month.
I might be sour because I will not be doing that anymore... after three years of glorious collecting , it sucks.

If your LGS isn't F enough, buy some stuff and be kind and hopefully they will get some F to go with their L.
If you live in an area where no GS is L, I'm sorry but you are SOL.

Nah ASF becuase they have to pay more and that is why they raised their prices. It is on FFG and Assmo, and Dat Mouse.

I think it is semantics as the real net effect is that alot of us will buy a helluva lot less FFG product. I love this game but FFG / Asmodee is being stupid. Do their margins increase on sales to the distribution companies like ACD? Nope...they still make the same.
All this does is make it harder for the customer who was inclined to buy metric craptons of their product be unable to do so at reasonable prices. I would NEVER have bought 3 slavers or 3 jumpmasters at MSRP.

In later posts I learned that they actually did raise prices on ACD and other distributors as well. If that is true then I stand corrected, though I stand by my assertion that making things less attractive to the end customer - regardless of how they acquire the product - is not a great idea.

No it's not irrational, it's quite rational. The rationale is that the LGS does way more to support the hobby then online retailers do.
So by doing something that makes them more competitive, they are making the LGS stronger, which means they can offer more support for the hoby.
That may or may not actually happen, but it is completely wrong to call it irrational.
Companies do not stay profitable long term by selling to current customers. In order to stay in business, you must attract new customers. Asmodee believes that LGS will bring in enough new customers to make up for decreased sales from folks like you and I.

Amazon is pretty cheap. I do buy some ships (and those **** funko pop dolls) from my FLGS; I just bought a bunch of card sleeves for my ship cards last Saturday, and my Death Star II mat. But I'tll still buy some from Amazon: shipping isn't a problem due to Prime (and my larger, Amazon addiction).
Too expensive? Then stop playing x-wing. You will be missed.
