I realized that after posting this entry...




...there may be may other FFG fans interested in receiving instant notifications whenever FFG releases news.


If you are like me and would like to know the moment the FFG releases news, I found a way. Utilizing IFTTT (IF This Then That) , I have configured my phone to receive a notification each time the FFG - News RSS Feed gets a new entry.


I know there is more than one way to skin a...barghest, this is my preferred method. My phone is always on me, allowing me to be notified the moment FFG posts news.

The facts:

  • Google Play does not provide a means of being notified when a new app is released.
  • FFG does not always post product release news to coincide with the product being released.
I found a way to receive notification on my phone when there is a change to the FFG App page on Google Play using IFTTT : Fantasy Flight Games - Google Play Update Notification
