I usually fly a Decimator build and basically have done since the start of the year. I've had a lot of success with it in my local store but want to try something entirely different (at least until imperial veterans hits). I'd like to try the below mini swarm.

Bearing in mind I only have 3 Tie/FOs (Force awakens core set and a Tie/FO expansion) and one TAP and a Tie Advanced (if relevant) I'd be very grateful for advice on the below list. I've tried to keep the ships as self sufficient as possible so that if one goes down it doesn't detract from the others at all.

The Baron is really there as filler and a potential blocker so appreciate there may be better options.

One (potential) problem I see though is that it suffers from the "stuck in the middle" syndrome. It doesn't hit hard enough to be a real swarm and it doesn't have enough repositional abilities to be a real aces list. But with the right play style and enough practice I think it could be reasonably effective.

Thanks, I can't really disagree with you. Against aces all except Omega leader will struggle, but he will inevitably be the first target.

If I had some Ties instead of the Baron it might add some much needed punch, but I can't afford that just now.

Well it went better than expected. Faced super dash and Corran with, VI, R2D2 and something else. Came down to Omega Leader chasing Corran and eventually losing yo the double tap. Was great fun though the end game really dragged out. I'm going yo try a HLC Krassis Trellix with Omega Leader and Zeta Leader support next week probably.
