Where can I go to read about Tie Fighter Pilots?

By DiggityDug, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Oddly enough, while I played Tie Fighter on my PC in college when it came out, I am just getting into the story of Maarek Stele. That, and the other Tie Fighter pilots (Soontir Fel, etc).

Where can I read the background of these pilots? Or even are there just some solid cracking Tie Fighter novels, like the Rogue Squadron books, but from the Imperial Side? Novels or Comics please!

Thanks,

Diggity.

Thanks, but im not talking about reading like in Wiki-reading. Im looking for novels or stories.

Legends:

The Rogue Squadron comics that focus on Baron Fel might count - as might the Other Sons of Tatooine arc, for the period where Biggs is a TIE pilot.

Death Star has several protagonists - one of which is a TIE pilot.

Newcanon:

Lost Stars has quite a few scenes from the point of view of TIE piloting protagonists.

The short story Last Call at the Zero Angle, from SW Insider, has TIE pilot protagonists.

Try to think of a wiki as a reference catalog. You can discard all that wiki stuff and go look at the sources at the bottom of the page.

the rogue squadron comics is where you want to be. there is a trade paperback that has soontir fel on the cover looking all high speed......

I should probably give the Rogue Squadron comics a shot. I tried the book series and found it boring.
