Could this work?

51 points that gets destructed in 2-3 turns and loses all it's good tricks doesn't seem like a good idea to me, and that's coming from a guy that flew double decimators in a spring kit last week.

What about:

Patrol Leader w/ Vader

Omicron Group Pilot w/ Palpatine, Baffles, Engine Upgrade

Zeta Leader w/ Predator

I was struggling to find a non-OmegaL damage dealing pilot in the 20-28 point range (that being what's left after PL+Vader, OGP+Palp), and thought about a bomber, but ZetaL is strong and he'll have somewhat free range with the OGP taking fire and the PL is the anti-ace kit here.

Palpatine and Vader together on the same ship is wildly counterproductive, you want Palpatine to stay alive as long as possible, but you want Vader to damage the ship he's on in order to hand out crits. And ideally, you want Vader with Gunner to hand them out multiple times to turtled aces.

Kenkirk + Vader + Isard gives you some hull to play with, along with a little bit of survivability down the line that the other decimators don't have. But then we're back at 51 points again. Which isn't awful considering the emperor is now on another ship. Add rebel captive, and they'll want to shoot you even less.
