The Scyk could really just use a new title that isn't an upgrade tax, and if I am reaching for the stars a hard 1 speed green. I think the Kihraxz is okay, maybe something off the wall like a way to ion itself (giving it a telegraphed 1 straight). I'd like to see the StarViper get something for generics, but the Virago title takes care of one ace. An alternative title that isn't quite as good but is free or a slight discount, and I would be happy.
Shields are boring, and point reductions are boring. I'm okay with them, but I would like to see them with something interesting along side.
Save the M3A for the Scum Epic.
Kilhrazx and Starviper, with a 2-point-freebiee title of some kind for the Viper, and some kind of effect to improve the Khilrazx's jousting to be on par with the Lothar Rebel and x7 defender.

Starviper played alongside the Jumpmaster is a dispiriting experience, when you compare the dials, considering the Viper was supposed to be the scum superiority fighter!
How about this then, a new title that makes the generics more efficient, and a brand new dial to accompany the Virago title? White s-loops and a five straight maybe?
Kihraxz is harder, as it's already a pretty solid jouster.
I took Xizor and Guri to a SC yesterday, and just missed the cut. They don't need much to make them a niche but competitive ship imo, but then again, the defender didn't need much, and look at what it got! ![]()
More illicits.
Dual upgrade title for the Kihraxz. One side buffs range 1-2 damage(like a Luke crew or Chiraneau mini-focus). One side grants an extra shield or hull or similar mechanic.
-1 point overall and -2 for illicit slot on Starviper.
I think the new Countess Ryad in the defender is going to help show people how strong ships can be even in the mid pilot skills. Guri is amazing, and would be broken at PS8 or 9. They take a different mindset of flying, you have to switch between acing the generics and blocking the aces, but it has been working for Brobots too.
The things slowing the StarVipers down is that the generics can't take the title, and you can only take Guri or Xizor with the title.
Scyks are okay without the title, not quite as efficient as TIEs but a little bit like a prototype A-wing. The title making any of those secondary weapons more expensive is rough, similar how prockets cost 5 on an A-wing due to losing out on Chardaan refit. Also, no hard greens on the interceptor means it has trouble shedding stress and close fighting.
I really do think the Kihraxz is in a good place. It could use a few other unique options (Graz is pretty useless) and maybe a small maneuvering tweak.
Let's see, that makes my specific options:
Light Scyk interceptor (title): Scyk Only. You may treat all your one speed maneuvers green. You gain (illicit). 0 points.
Overcharged Massage Jumpseat (joke name) (modification): Kihraxz only. At the end of turn, you may remove one stress. Gain one Ion token. Kihraxz only. 0 points
Retrothruster refit (Torpedo): StarViper Only. You may boost using the rear guides of your ship. 2 points?

Scyk: Give them specific Scyk-only missiles and torpedoes, or something else that justifies those slots on the Heavy Scyk title. At the moment, there's simply no reason to ever put one-shot upgrades on a Syck, even with Guidance Chips in the equation. You're paying a two-point tax for something that will be done better by Z-95s and Scouts.
Kihraxz: Maybe a defensive upgrade that lets them apply their range-3 defense to secondary weapons? Would certainly help Talonbane Cobra out.
StarViper: Something that gives it an evade token, maybe after doing a red maneuver?
Considering a two-ship pack, I expect to see Viper and Kihraxz highlighted. Two uniques for each, plus extra copies of generics.
For Vipers, a PS6 and a PS8 unique, a standard-issue title for generics and, maybe, an exclusive illicit?
For K-Fighters, a PS7 and a PS8 unique, the Vaksai title (perhaps a "no modifiers on primary attack" effect) and a nice new EPT.
I expect to see Scyks on a future epic ship, also dreaming of a "Light Scyk" Interceptor that reads: "Whenever you perform an evade action, you may perform a free boost or barrel roll action". And a high-PS offense-oriented ace, of course, to exploit that.
New pilots, mostly. Though Talonbane in a Viper is a very interesting concept.
I'm liking the idea of mid-PS pilots with cool abilities becoming more useful and common. It entices away from arc-dodging and may make lower PS arc-dodgers viable at the same time.
A Starviper fix that allows aft firing arc, like it can do in the EU fluff and in the video game (or at least I seem to remember it being able to sdo so in the game).
The big issue with the Viper is that it should have had the benefits of its title as default on the ship for no extra cost and it's going to be hard to fix that unless they completely nulify Virago's usefulness with an identical title for free or negative cost.
It should be StarViper and HWK-290, IMO.
Give the HWK Scum-only titles and something to lower cost of the StarViper and I'll be happy...Give the HWK a Black Sun paintjob and the 'Viper a Hutt scheme and I'll explode. ![]()
The Scyk fix (more shields?) could come with Jabba's yacht (although Z-95s might fit the lore better) with deployment rules. Just throw on some alternate green/purple, Cartel-candy paint and call it a day.

Doesn't matter TYPE of ship ... Just outrageous, bold, crazy paint schemes. They are scum, they have that ghetto flair ... They want their antics to be noticed as they make their mark in the galaxy.

I would love to have some generic pilots for StarViper with an Elite Talent slot, some kind of cool Title upgrade for the Kihraxz Fighter (I'll let the wizards at FFG figure this one out, after the TIE Defender in Imperial Veterans, they have my vote!
