Wow that with PTL is just going to be silly.

Nice to see such a good ability on a mid level PS.

That is one hideously powerful ability. Might now threaten aces that much, but having four green K-turns to choose from is amazing, and against anything PS1-4 this is downright murderous. Can't see myself taking a Glaive over Ryad now.

Oh my. I'm now looking forward to what they do for (hopefully) e-wings and X-wings.

And Stele is the same cost as Vessery. Looks like they did an excellent job on the named with these.

Maarek is 35, which is a pleasant surprise. And the Glaives are 34, not surprising.

But Ryad? Holy crap!!!!! Green K-turns. At speed 2-5. Craziness.

Pricing is what I figured. Glad Maarek is 35 points. Throw Calculation and x7 on him and call it a day.

Glaives at 34 means you can't triple them up with Juke. But two w/ Juke and a 3rd with a 1 point EPT ain't bad.

Countess Ryad . Full Shenanigans - Countess + x7 + PTL + Engine Upgrade = 39. Its pricey but you can K-turn at speed 4 or 5 and get 3 actions. Or speed 2 K-turn then boost. Basically flips you around in 1 base forward.

I'll be honest, I gasped when I saw Ryad's ability. That's amazing.

I'm glad they realized the situationalness of Stele's ability and priced him accordingly.

Now instead of just a "why Glaive instead of Vessery" question, it's a "why Glaive instead of Maarek" question. That 1 point buys you a PS and a decent ability over a Glaive.

Ryad's ability is so good against swarms of all sorts. It's hard to block the K-turn, and it might not even be a K-turn! Maybe she just leaves it as a straight if the moves didn't work out.

Yeah, I think her title is just whatever you want her Defender to do. You can go cheap and be fine, you can go high offense TIE/D and be fine. You could go HLC and have a badass ship PTLing all over the place and laying down TL/Focus 4-dice shots left and right.
