Double U-boats, Feedback variation

By Albertpalma, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hello everybody!

In the last tournaments we see A LOT of imperial aces, Palpmobile, crack swarms... and U-boats are sinking... so this is my next list for an imperial-heavy tournament in a few weeks:

100 points

Contracted Scout

JumpMaster 5000 36p.

Deadeye (1)

Plasma Torpedoes (3)

Extra Munitions (2)

Guidance Chips (0)

Intelligence Agent (1)

Feedback Array (2)

R4 Agromech (2)

Contracted Scout

JumpMaster 5000 37p.

Deadeye (1)

Extra Munitions (2)

Proton Torpedoes (4)

Guidance Chips (0)

ยท Boba Fett (1)

Feedback Array (2)

R4 Agromech (2)

Ruthless Freelancer

G-1A Starfighter 27p.

Fire Control System (2)

Feedback Array (2)

I've seen the U-boats+z95 Feedbackx2 list, and I think its nice, but I think this list is more durable, contains Boba Trick and IA for blocking, and more important, the freelancer with FCS+evade action provides more muscle than 2 z95. And you have three ships with PS 3.

What do you think??

I think I like it in general, it is a good version of the 2 jumpmasters + something. Triple feedback arrays are going to help you a lot.

The things I would consider:

1. The jumpmaster counters are going to be even more effective. Wes Janson, Palob, and Carnor Jax now take out a much bigger chunk of your alpha strike.

2. The freelancer is probably going to be the last target of your opponent unless the uboat with Boba Fett gets both Torpedoes off, in which case the threat has somewhat passed. Is a PS3 G-1A going to do much for you in the end game? I'd almost take 4-LOM with one of the two upgrades (I think that fits with the points) so you can stress out an ace chasing you one on one. The freelancer is more maneuverable than a shuttle because of k-turns, but their ideal end game is still chasing it.

Edit: Looks like you could fit a naked 4-LOM at those points, that is less good. There is some wiggle room with the uboat that has Intelligence Agent, see if you regularly get two torpedoes to fire? I assume it will block a lot so you may not need extra munitions.
