Armada Glossary : Some words being confusing for a noob

By Sybreed, in Star Wars: Armada

Hey guys, I read the forums a lot as I just got Armada. But, I see some words or play on words that I don't really understand.

First, bids, what are these? I keep seeing "outbid your opponent" or something similar, or stuff about initiative bids... I read, I searched on the forums, I haven't found clearly what bids are. Nothing in the rules either.

Demo-triple tap. What's this? The Demo is the Demolisher right? Does triple tap refer to something that permits the demolisher to activate more than once in a round?

If I find something else, I'll ask here!

Glossary is here.

Bid: How many points you have left over when designing a list. The rules state that who has the lower points chooses who has Initiative. This is the "Initiative Bid".

Demolisher Triple Tap:

Having a Demolisher, as well as securing 1st Player, and more Activations (ships) than Your opponent.

This allow syou to move + shoot Demolisher as the last ship in the Turn, and then follow it up as the First ship the next turn, giving you Three Unanswered Tattacks... Or the "Triple Tap"

Well dras is reading so I won't answer as I will just get Ninjad

Now you may ask what ninja'd means on this forum, it is simply when writing a response someone else answers it first before you post yours (and thus in aware of them until after you post) making you look like a dimwit that can't read the post before

Not technically Gladiators... Specifically the Demolisher title on a gladiator
