HAPPY GAME OF THRONES DAY!

4.) Jaquen H'gar takes out the Waif. He said "don't let her suffer"; the Waif did exactly that with the gutshot and twist. Waif has a spiteful streak, she has failed.

I like this, but Arya still getting sepsis from canal-bathed gut wound.

I'm starting to think it's a combination of 1 and 4.

**** assassins! Everything is a test...

5) It's a (prophetic) dream. A warning sent to Aria by the many faced god. Maybe it has still plans for her?

"There is only one god, and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: 'Not today'."

I'm starting to think it's a combination of 1 and 4.

Could be.. IIRC when Arya went blind she removed a number of masks from one of the Faceless Men and saw her own face... the Waif could have stacked another follower of the Many Faced God. Certainly Arya was being quite careless on this episode, considering what she would be expecting.

I am hoping for a combo of 1/4.

But I am prepped for arya to just be dumb.

So who do you think Sansa's raven is heading to? The besieged Blackfish or the treacherous Littlefinger?

It has to be Littlefinger. She sent Brienne to find the Blackfish because she was afraid of Ramsey intercepting a raven. Why would she all of a sudden just send one?

It could be to another Northern house though... Or even to Theon. She knows he was going home.

Maybe to the Lord's Declarant.

Please come help.

P.S. Petyr pushed Lysa out the hole.

Good call Jo Jo, forgot about Brienne. Yes, it's got to be Littlefinger. Talk about your proverbial double-edged sword.

OK, so we're sure that it was the Brotherhood that were responsible for taking out the Hound's pals? They've always been portrayed as shady in the series, but never out-and-out brigands/murderers that I can recall.

Also, great cameo from Tim McInnerny. Didn't realise it was Captain Darling at first!

It seems to me the Brothers w/o Banners is waging a guerrilla war against the Sparrows. They now basically control the King and have gotten incredibly powerful. Remember, they follow the Lord of Light, so purging heretics is something I can see them doing.

Well if a certain someone happens to make an appearance they could go a little more sinister

It's weird to associate Lem with the straight-up murdering of peasants like that. I'm holding out hope that there was something else going on.

But I did read an interesting take on this last night.

What if that was LSH's leadership?

This guy murdered a boy in front of his mother so he and all of his followers must die. LSH is harsh, crazy and clearly past seeing reason. Maybe they are showing nut job LSH because they want everyone suspicious of Jon post-death. Then later we find out Mel had nothing at all to do with his resurrection. If this whole scene was doubling as Jon buildup and Hound reintroduction in one sweep I am much more okay with Lem being such a bad dude.

Next episode The return of Robert Baratheon. He knew his wife was up to no good so staged his own death. Now he is returning to set things right *L* Or...Bara-Theon Greyjoy. The name is a clue. The combination of Iron island and Iron throne Combining the power of the Baratheons and the Greyjoy fleet to rule Westeros. Until, made whole by the red woman's magic, he marries Sansa Stark, Whose newfound respect for him blossoms into love to create the greatest dynasty in Westeros.

Pretty sure noone would expect that....or want it

Official episode 8 description is out. And vague enough to be useless.

While Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) weighs his options, Cersei (Lena Headey) answers a request. Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a new test.

First thing that popped into my head.... "that girl is from Braavos not Westeros.... THIS IS A FARCE!"

I'm so hoping we get Lady Stoneheart!

Frey's are gonna pay!

OK.....so I finally got to see the latest episode and can comment!

Was that Lem in the episode?

In the books, all sorts of armies and left overs from armies plagued the simple folk of the 7 Kingdoms. That's why the Sparrow was able to rise to power. All the wars and fighting across the land caused huge amounts of problems for the common folk. All sorts of desperate and armed men did all sorts of bad things. Actually, the Brotherhood W/out Banners rose up as a honorable group that watched out for the common folk. So.....if it was Lem and the Bw/oB, then it totally goes against the books and what they stood for. That's stupid.

The whole thing with Arya is messed up in the tv show. I don't like the Waif and the whole Arya getting "killed" by her. What they will probably do is have Arya go back to the thespians and join them. She heals up and joins them. Then, it will tie in with the books and she will find someone on her list as a guard for the 7 Kingdoms representative visiting with the Iron Bank. At least, that's what I think.

It was Lem. The actor confirmed on Twitter. When someone accused him of murdering innocents he was basically like, "Is that what happened?"

True....we don't know what happened. Could be some other band of ruffians. There are enough roaming around.

Maybe that down of people consumed the flesh of the living each night. We have no idea who deserves what.
