My search-fu is apparently weak tonight.

I am planning on going to Gen Con this year, and flying in the NA Championships. I am also planning on flying in my local Regional next month. Apparently I'm feeling really ambitious about my chances at regionals, because I'm trying to figure out whether a bye won there could be used at the North American Championships, rather than the US National one, as I have no plans for Origins.

Anybody have any idea?

I'm almost positive Wade said in a random facebook thread that you can use them, this year, at GenCon. It might be worth sending OP an e-mail to ask them.

One of the articles they posted at the same time as the ID follow-up last week stated that this year only you can use the regional bye for either Nationals or the North American championship.
