For the greater good/Undercover

By Virtigo, in Star Wars: Rebellion

Q: Let's say Obi-Wan just used For the Greater Good to rescue a leader. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he is now permanently stuck on that planet right?

1.Can I use undercover when an Imperial does a mission to get him "Unstuck" and back into my leader pool?

2.Or would he go to another planet to help in a mission and be stuck on the new planet?

3. Or would I not be able to use Obi-Wan with undercover at all?

This came up in my last game, thanks a ton everyone, and I hope you are all enjoying Rebellion as much as I am.

He returns to the pool at the end of the round as normal, the clause on his card just means that he cannot be moved to the rebel base space right after a rescue, like rescuing leaders normally can.

Really? Thank you for this. I thought I was losing Obi-Wan for good on this one. Makes sense though that he leaves himself out there to get captured,

but with the noble sacrifice card that might be a good thing.

Staying on the board for longer, especially permanently, would require *way* more explicit wording than the card has, and probably an attachment ring to indicate it. (compare Detained, which spells out next round explicitly)

And since anyone can do this mission to cover their friends "retreat", a "Force Ghost" ring might not be hugely thematic (that thematic element is kind of covered by Obi-wan's action card anyway).
