I thought that bit with the Inspector was pretty cool. The end bit. I was kind of surprised, but I thought it was pretty in line with his character.
The new Marvel Comics series- Darth Vader and others
OK.....reviving an old thread. Sorry about that, but I just read some more of the comics and wanted to talk about them. I figured this was better than starting a new thread.
I really liked the new Han Solo series! Just the first episode, but I like the idea of it. They even had Airel Cracken in it! So, he's canon now.
I read the first 3 of the Poe series in a week with my son. I liked that the overall plot is about chasing down the lead of the guy who starts off Episode 7. It's one of those things that we will read and then go back to Episode 7 and actually appreciate it more as we know more background story. I like the villain. I'm still not fully up on the politics of New Republic and First Order, but I guess the Bloodlines book will fill it in. It was OK. Not fantastic, but not bad.

Second......man!!!! They are ending Vader?!?!? I read the article and I guess it makes sense. Man...they keep ending my favorite ones. I loved the Kanan, the Last Padawan series.

Yeah, I don't think it's a case of "cancelled", more "got to the end of the story they wanted to tell". Shame though.
Maybe they will pick up other Vader storylines at future points? What did he do after Ep 5? Things like that. It was a strong series, so they might find new storylines.
