Having met the owner of this kickstarter I can say he makes some great things.

These look nice, has anyone had an opportunity to see these in person? Just wondering about how practical they are for holding ship cards & upgrade cards during play?

I would think it is extremely practical. They have the slots for everything and you could get little bucket for the command tokens and such.

How does it hold 3 large ships? I see the rear centerline is for large ships; the in-use pic shows an ISD in this spot. The spots left and right of the ISD (ones holding VSDs) wont hold a large base. Do the other 2 large ships sit in part of the spots where the VSD sits and some of the spots where the pic shows a CR90 and a Raider (left and right sides respectively)?
This tray looks perfect(?) for carrying between tables at tourneys.

Carrying between tables is exactly what it is good for. You can also magnetize the inner part of the L on the base and add magnets to the tray.

These look wonderful. I have been trying to figure out how to do a drawer on mine. With no luck, and no.. I won't be adding them as I can't bring myself to even come close to taking someone's idea.

I pledged on the armada tray and they have updated the pictures to show the 3 ships on it..There are where they said they to be located at.
They also just added an ExtraLarge Armada tray. Doesnt seem neccessary for a tourney event unless you are carrying builds for 2(+) players??
