Which one is better?
Why VI? Not much is going to be sitting at 7/8 these days. To out PS other BroBots go for adaptability and then you have some points for glitter stim.
Second squad is better if you drop Baffle and Dampeners for FCS.
First squad, you can drop Dampeners and Stim to upgrade VI (which won't do you much anyway) to PTL.

Problem there, I would get stressed to much. I was trying to make a squad that could use PTL and HLC, unlike other squads that use Mangler and Sensors.
And Timathius, I only have 1 Glitterstim. Quick question about Adaptability. What is the point of lowering your PS?

There are two possible reasons: you want your whole list moving at the same PS, or you want to make your ship into a (slightly) better blocker.

Tough call, but I think I'd go with the first. If you have a copy of Crack Shot, you might consider swapping it with one of the Veteran Instincts--it really makes a difference when you're trying to crack dodgy Imperial aces early in the game.
I Think VI is not so bad, i lost to Miranda Doni with 1 HP with at Brobot at Half life, he just fly round The bord and slam Into Me for 20 minuts and won on points, with VI you can bid for initiative

Poe will 9/10 have VI as will Corran. The others I will grant you, I just think PTL or Crackshot will serve you better if you want to spend points on an EPT and Adaptability if you just need to raise your PS a bit.
So should I go with B + A, C, or D? I really like C, but I can't really use PTL and HLC, unless I do the second build. Do you guys think Mangler and Sensors are more effective? People online say that HLC is so much better.
I have another idea, how about you tell me what you think is the best Brobot squad, and I can tell you if I have the cards. First thoughts, I have only 1 Crackshot and only 1 Glitterstim.

Edited by EpixcaAbout the Electronic Baffle. Last year I made it to Top 8 in Regionals with B+C with HLC, PtL, FCS and AT. They work just fine, you just have to always think 1-2 turns ahead so you won't get blocked. If you manage to control the game you will mostly shoot with TL+Focus+Evade if you manage to pursue your target.
Just get Crackshots in lieu of thos VIs and squad 1 looks very solid. Although botA is kinda lacking. Swap it for C or D (d if you like sloops, c if you dont 
)
Hmmmmm, so the main reason people fly Brobots with manglers is to take advantage of IG88B's ability right? When equipped with HLC, you want to be keeping at range 3 even more so to keep up a defensive edge and keep your cannon up. The best way to keep at your farthest range band is to have ships that can block for you and control enemy ship movement. Of course a team of Brobots both equipped with HLC are going to have conflicting interests because they both want to be at range 3. I suggest keeping HLC on one of them and switching to a mangler on the other this way the latter can take advantage of B's pilot ability and still try to block for the former.

Edited by TroxygenI personally would only do PTL if you are taken Advanced Sensors. You really want to be stress less to be able to S loop if needed. Otherwise take Crackshot and go from there. I feel HLC's are always better. But if you really want to push crits through then for sure go Mangler. It also gives you a few points over the HLC. If you go Mangler you could add Tractor beams to them as well. To have some control in your list. And it's a secondary weapon so you can use it as your B shot. As far as the Illict goes Dampener is nice but so is Glitterstem. Both give you Stress and both are very useful. IMHO
Hard to argue with the top list, B and C are the popular choices.
