We keep getting veterans in new color schemes and it's nice.. My thought was a box about the same cost as the vet's but with models from the missions.. Things like the satellites.. turrets .. asteroids ...

Every large boxed set comes with missions in it and new tokens to use in those missions. That's every Core set, Aces pack, or large based ship comes with missions. So, we do get them occasionally. You can find a description of them here, but it doesn't have all the details, unfortunately:

FFG stated that they will not come out with a product that doesn't have a ship in it. So....we won't see anything like a printed campaign or list of missions. That's too bad, but that's the reality.

There is also FFG's Mission Control. It's a website where anyone can create their own missions in a format that allows you to print it out and make it look really professional. There are a TON of great missions. I can recommend anything from Babaganoosh, as his are really good. I made a short campaign that's 4 missions long that I'm proud of.

If you haven't looked up the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster campaign, you should. Everyone who's tried it has said it's an utter blast. I know a couple that only play the campaign version of X-wing these days.

You can also make up any on your own. I have a lot of fun trying to come up with different missions.

Babaganoosh and I are starting a podcast that should be coming out very soon called Shuttle Tydirium that goes into casual play and missions. Our first one reviews the ones that came out in Wave 8. I think we record this weekend and will talk about Mission 1.

I meant the miniatures for the table... like Satellite miniatures..exc..

As much as I'd like to see something like this, all indications are that FFG will not release a product like this. However, there are a lot of guys out there 3D printing this kind of thing. Check out Mel's Miniatures and Gosric on shapeway, for starters.

One thing some people have done isthey have used Descent (FFG's dungeon crawl game) door stands with the satellite token in them, so they stand up. Or 3d printing little stands....I currently have a few little 3d printed stands for my target lock tokens.

Unfortunately, like Haychadwick said, any expansions that do come out must have a ship with them. I do know some people that you can order 3D printed satellites, asteroids, debris, etc. But whenever I play a mission that includes sattilites or specific objects, I'll just take the transparent stand piece that holds up the doors from Imperial Assault, so you can have a little, floaty spacey effect.
