So my friend and I are going to have a friendly game in the next couple of weeks. I've generally won our games, but lately his dual deci list has proven itself very tough to break. Any thoughts on my list? I'm trying to get the most out of the Defenders and really get a feel for them before Imp Vets show up.

His list-

Chirpy w/Predator

Oicunn w/Gunner, Intimidation, and Anti-Pursuit Lasers

My list-

Inquisitor w/Push the Limit, Autothrusters, and v1

Delta w/Mangler cannon

Manglers are not really good value on a 3 attack ship. You are paying 4 points for the possibility of an extra crit (doesn't help while shields are left) and the secondary weapon benefit (no bonus agility @ R3).

I would suggest this instead:

Inquisitor w/ PTL, title, autos & proton rockets = 34

2 deltas w/ hull upgrades = 33 x 2

The deltas get more staying power and the Inquisitor packs a nasty punch at all ranges (at least once at R1 anyway).

I like the Hull Upgrade idea. Don't have prockets unfortunately, but I might put tracers on and use the rest as a bid.
