Hey all,

Loving the game so far, but had a small rules questions that I don't think has been asked before. If an Imperial Loyalty Marker has been placed on the planet containing the Rebel Base (Say, by way of Superlaser Online), is the base revealed? It doesn't seem like it would be, but I didn't see it in the rules.

i think the rules state, as soon as ground troops land on the surface reveal the hidden base.

thematically, a planet and population could be loyal to the empire, but you have hidden a base somewhere on the planet, it is only when garrisons start arriving that they can find it easier

Do t know where exactly in the rules it is stated, but the base is revealed when imperial ground forces are on the planet or the planet becomes loyal to the empire.

So, yes, the base would be revealed.

THIS is why the Death Star blowing up a system is a huge advantage for the Empire. It's a way to search an entire region in one move.

you only get 1 loyalty in the region, so it doesn't search the whole region

Well, half a region maybe. The extra loyalty can't be used on remote planets and only brings a Rebel system to neutral. So, if you're just blowing up stuff to check, it would be best to blow up these two types of systems.

It makes perfect sense too.
