If somebody asks me point-blank "What are you bringing to the tournament?", I'll tell them "I'm not sure." Something about that question sends up red flags for me. I'm also one of those guys that keeps my squad hidden before a tournament begins - I don't 'scout' but I'm not going to let others scout either. Mostly because I usually run TIE interceptors, and if anybody is considering maybe running Darth Vader crew + Gunner, I don't want to encourage them ![]()
How secret are your tournament lists
TIE Bombers don't keep secrets: we make are intent very clear.
There will be rubble in many locations at the end of our conflict.
Bothans have to die to get my lists.
I'm yet to come up with a top list that others havnt themselves. Someone somewhere will develop the same list even in isolation.
That being the case why keep it secret. Use the list subforum, get constructive critique. Better to amend in advance than find all of sudden you missed a trick.
Edit.. That said I usually settle on final list the night before and it doesn't come out of my box until set up. I'll freely discuss all my lists and even which one(s) I'm leaning towards but I dont put things on a plate either.
Edited by kopmcgintyAce(s) + 3-4 TIE Mini-Swarm.
The Ace(s) and the Swarm vary.
The tactics generally don't - The swarm blocks (or, if it's a crackswarm, jousts then survivors block), the Ace(s) flank, arc dodge, generally get killed because I'm not very good.
Also I don't own Palpatine, so I can't do Palp aces.
So in answer to the question... Not at all a secret.
Edited by Stu35Mine are kept in a vault with the colonel's secret recipe. I don't even bring them to tournaments. I only bring them out for special games and play by myself, ensuring that all the windows are covered.
They are so secret, I don't know the list myself till my brain tells my hand what to write on the sheet the morning of.
It would take the lives of many Bothans before my Tournament Lists become public knowledge.
