1st edition

By 455 PWR, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Hi all,

So I sold my entire 1st edition collection with the release of all the h&m collections (most was unpuched, I just used and collected the minis for 2nd edition). However, I have severe seller's regret... I am lookin to buy back a 1st edition collection.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I am looking for the core set, road to legend, tomb of ice, well of darkness, and altar of despair all in their origional boxes and complete.

The completionist and collector in me is overpowering my will to thin out my collections. Guess I like ffg's minis too much!!

Ouch! Yeah, that's going to be a difficult task. Did you have all the lieutenants?

E-bay or some miracle my friend. I wish you luck. And lots of gold in your pocket!

Yea, I bought the old lot a couple years ago (most mip) for $400 and recently sold it to nobleknight for $235 so we could finish our basement. So far I have found tomb of ice, well of darkness, altar of despair, and road to legend (sealed), but it has cost me $536 for just those four in their boxes, most opened but unpunched!)

Geez, lesson learned. If clearing out a game collection, don't sell if you have any sort of attachment.

Just reading this makes me sad. I am sorry you are having to start over. Good Luck on finding what you want. :)

@ 455 PWR - how often did you really get to play it? I know you regret losing that set, I would too. Maybe it's a good thing though. Honestly, I feel like my Descent collection owns me not the other way around. While I greatly enjoy the game I'm also half tempted to just sell it all on eBay, buy a kayak, and start paddling again.

Dropping over $500 on this game is a bit expensive. Just sayin'.
