We all have lives outside of this game, and for some (many?) of us, that means that our fleet has at some point become large enough that we simply haven't had the time to try out all the ships we have purchased.

I personally would be surprised if I have flown even half of the fleet I own, and I am only a few ships shy of a complete set. There are more than a few ships I have purchased which have promptly been cast aside (unloved) after having been ravaged for their desirable upgrades.

I am pretty sure I am not alone in this, but I wonder if I am in the minority or majority? Are other players buying more ships than they play, or am I a statistical anomaly?

I'm happy to say that the number of ships I've not flown is zero. I make a special point of flying every ship I buy at least once.

I may not put every model I buy into the game I don't think I've ever used every one of my Z-95's in a game, but I've flown each ship at least once.

I own one of each epic, and at least two of each of the others. So far I have not flown the Gozanti, the T-70 and the TIE Prototype. It will happen eventually.

Out of 86 ships, roughly 20, not sure what I was thinking when I bought 4 Z-95s when they released.

I generally sell the ships I never use being a broke college student and all. Lol

Up until recently I could say there was a large portion of my fleet was unflown (rebels and scum)

but recently I've started trying other factions and been going out of my ways to use ships. I think atm the only ships I've not flown is e wing, yt2400, and kax fighter

Gozanti, K-Wing and all of the Scum ships to date.

I've not flown the Gozanti or Raider as yet (there's not a huge amount of Epic play locally), but other than that everything apart from the Ghost and Attack Shuttle have been taken out for a spin. The main reason I've not flown the Ghost is the lack of a suitable storage and transport option for it, but I'll be ordering something for that after payday.

I've not been playing that long and like to play Scum, and generally prefer to avoid blue on blue fights, and I share my collection with my game group as well, so far I've yet to play:

Just the Jumpmaster and the Mist Hunter, but I have a few more that I've barely tried out, such as the YT-2400, the T-70, the Kihraxz and the YV-666. I'm kind of tempted to try running Dash & Chopper, so maybe I'll give that a go once I pick up a Ghost.

Nope. I have the opportunity to run all kinds of craziness against my sons. I ran 2 Starvipers, 2 Scyks, and a Kihraxz last week. We've done 8 Z-95's Vs. 8 Tie Fighters as well. Whatever it takes to get everybody on the table every so often.

I have never flown the Falcon. It just never appealed to me and was too OP for a while.

I have never flown my K-wing. I don't really fly Rebels, but I just haven't done it yet. It's worse lately as I'm more into Scum and Imperials.

My Tie Punisher has never been on the table. I want to get it out, but I just haven't had a chance. Iv'e used my Tie Bombers a lot and love 'em. I want to find a reason to get the Punisher on the table, though.

I've never flown the Raider or Rebel transport in Epic play. Oddly I have yet to fly the K fighter nor J5k (that will be remedied, maybe even tonight). I have every ship except the Gozanti.

Do you mean hulls I have never flown or do you mean individual models that have not hit the board because I have not had a chance to field 12 Z's in epic yet... among other things.

I let friends pick what ships to fly and I get the other faction. However, I just purchased a lot of X-Wing ships from someone getting out of the game; and it's quite a load of them. So I haven't flown any yet. Tough having responsibilities (job, home renovation, kids, etc.) getting most of the time pushing gaming to the end of things. I will not list the ships, too many. I am looking forward to the Imperial Assault Carrier though; very cool setup.

For me: the TIE bomber. I've had them since release, too. It's the only ship I haven't used-- not counting the G1A that I just bought.

I don't recall ever using my tie bomber. I have flown bombers, but I don't think I've flown my own.

Lets see...me personally, VCX-100/shuttle, GR-75 transport, YT-2400. TIE phantom, G-1A. My son has flown a few of these against me, though, so I guess the G-1A and the transport are the only 2 that have never seen the table yet.

My A-Wings. I really don't like them.

I don't have any unflown ships for the faction I fly (though my wife/opponent has some unflown imperial ships: gozanti and inquisitor).

I have a lot of ships I've only flown once or twice though, usually because i end up not liking the ship much. I've flown the YT-2400 twice, but it doesn't seem to play significantly different than yt-1300, so most of the time I just take the yt-1300 since it looks slightly less ridiculous and I like the stats a bit more. I also don't fly the k-wing much -- it costs too many points. By the time I've kitted it out how I like it it's competing with falcons and e-wings, and I'd rather take those.

I admit I still haven't tried most of my wave 8 ships and the Punisher.

Oh, crap! I guess I should count the Mist Hunter in that list, but only because I have only had one game night since getting it. I need to get around to trying it.

For all of those people that have Epic, but haven't tried them, you should really try to pull them out. Even if you just write up some mission of whatever points and include your epic ships, it can be fun. Doesn't have to be 300. I've played my CR-90 with a few escorts (205 pts) vs. 205 pts of Tie Fighters and such. It's a blast! Set up little squads that people can just walk up and take over. You can really pull people into the game that way. Use all Generics for the little ships. It goes faster and is fun.
