Some inspiration?
Pffft. It's been done:

(subtitle: the cover of Marvel Star Wars #8, the Star-Hoppers of Aduba - a shameless Magnificent Seven remake)
Edited by DesslokRogue 1 is the same sort of feel I'm sure.
wow, it's the Avengers of the Ol' West, they even have a Hawkeye.

Edited by DesslokWow, it's almost as if I was unaware that ideas get re-used. Next you'll be telling me that Star Wars was actually The Hidden Fortress or some such nonsense.
Protip: Never watch The Dambusters.

My body is so ready for Chris Pratt in a Magnificent Seven remake.
I do have to say, after watching the trailer, my reaction was "meh."
We play lots of 'Shadows of Brimstone' so I loved this trailer.
That said, I'd pay good money to see a movie based on this:
(I actually had this comic as a kid. I think I cried when Porcupine Guy died. We absolutely need Porcupine Guys as a species, FFG.
Oh, and Amaiza Foxtrain. And Jaxx the giant green rabbit. Prehistoric EU at its finest...)

I don't know about the porcupine guys Maelora, they're kind of an ugly species. We don't want too many of those. ![]()

I'll admit, I was kidding about that...
Although I'm sure Porcupine Guys and Giant Green Rabbits are likely to appear in the Bounty Hunter book!
I remember I liked Amaiza, though (we didn't have too many heroines in 1978)...
... which is why it's kinda disappointing that she looks like a 50-year old drag queen on the cover here ![]()

I would have gone with Cross Dressing Ric Flair. . . .

(subtitle: The Nature Boy Ric Flair, not cross dressing)
Edited by DesslokThe lineage is there for the moviemaker as well...
Lucas was a fan of Kurosawa
Magnificient 7 was a remake of Seven Samurai by Kurosawa
The Samurai influence can be seen in the costume and Jedi code throughout Star Wars.
