So first post to the forums so if I structure anything wrong I am sorry. however here is my current list and I was looking for advice in general.

Commander Kenkirk (44):

• Ruthlessness (4)

Scourge (17)

• swarm tactics (2)

Wampa (14)

I've heard before that the decimator is a bit to point costly to run effectively which I'm inclined to agree on however the decimator has been the saving grace in this list on numerous occasions. also funny enough TLT has been more of a pain for my Tie fighters rather than the decimator.

Vader used to be the star in my list but I found that people shot him down to quickly. I have flown harder to fly ships like phantoms before though so I'm really up for any replacement/ improvement (including going back to vader).

If it were me flying this list, the wingman to the decimator would be either Vader, or Soontir Fel. 2 named ties fold easily compared to their points and if you could fit three academies they wouldn't do much better. I'm of the opinion that a tie swarm isn't really worth it till you've got at least 4 and one of them is howlrunner.

If I chose Vader he'd look like

Soontir Fel 27

I've been running a similar list. In my opinion bombs are a waste on the Decimator. Better to use them for upgrades on Ties. The synergy of Palp and Wampa is real and is very effective if pulled off. Then that tag teams into Scourge doing his thing. I don't know out ruthlessness on there either. It seems awesome but it can backfire. Spend the points on VI or Predator instead.
