Who are the most manoeuvrable pilots/ships?

By slowreflex, in X-Wing

I'm looking for pilot/ship combinations that are very good at fine-tuning where they want to end up. The likes of Vader and Soontir come to mind, but I don't hear much others mentioned. Who else is good at this? I'm assuming ships than can cloak are pretty manoeuvrable as well, but don't tend to hear them described this way. To clarify, looking for high PS pilots that can regularly do more than one action/manoeuvre a turn, unless there is something else that I'm not thinking of.

Thanks.

look at A wings

Vader

Interceptors

A wings (especially Jake)

TIE Advanced Prototypes

Dash Rendar

Dengar

Prince Xizor

Whisper

Miranda Doni (SLAMming counts...)

In no particular order.

Psycho Tycho I'd say is what you're looking for.

Tycho Celchu

- PtL

- Test Pilot

- Daredevil

- Experimental Interface

Missile or refit is optional.

Basically you can boost and daredevil or daredevil and boost and still have a focus/evade/TL depending on your third action. With this Tycho can turn up to 225 degrees including his maneuver. Very powerful combo, but it's got a hefty pricetag, it requires good flying to make him worth the points. Especially considering the fact that he's only got his three green dice, no AT or SD.

Jake is also an option, just give him PtL and VI and you've got Boost + BR + Focus to reach Soontir's level of dodging.

Juno Eclipse is another good option, though her maneuver shenanigans are somewhat different. Give her push the limit and an engine upgrade and watch her become nearly impossible to block.

Engine Upgrade PTL Echo.

Sabine + ptl

Miranda Doni + Leebo crew + Advanced Slam

Advanced sensor, Ig88-D with inertial dampenes, expert handling and experimental interface.

Jumpmaster

PTL

Engine Upgrade

Unhinged Astromech

psycho celchu,

and even better, Jake farrel, with KYLE KATARN SUPPORT

ever seen him get a focus, barrelroll off it, perform focus using PTL, and then boosting after his ability?

Awww yeah, DAT MANEUVERABLITY

for Extra crispy lulz, add Wingman to some nearby ship. after all the abuse, the A-wing clears his stress xD

Sabine Wren in the hHantom (Attack Shuttle)

Imperial Boba Fett with Navigator....same thing with Hera on the Ghost or Phantom.

All bow down to Queen Echo.

i think we all know the real answer.

Han with Stay on target, Navigator and Hera crew.

Select a 1 straight and then perform any move you'd like

Jake Farrel in Epic. Comms Booster.

A Starviper with Advanced Sensors and PTL has to be one of the most manevuerable ships around. It has boost and barrel roll and access to all of the 1 speed maneuvers. This allows it to turn tighter and stay behind other maneuverable ships.

58-point Dash with Kanan is the new boss.

Jake in A-Wing is a terror. I learned it hard way.

Rudor really impressed me with his post defence shenanigans.

Poe with the lesser seen BB-8. He sacrifices any regeneration ability, but combine the druid with Push the Limit and you can barrel roll before a green maneuvere, then focus or boost as appropriate. Your green maneuver clears the stress from PTL and you can then do whichever action you haven't done yet. Great fun!

If there only would be generics with access to PTL or aces for the StarViper.

Well, the outright winner is Echo, right?

There's a reason why the maneuvering app echolocation is called ECHOlocation.

There's a distinct difference between manoeuvrability and unpredictability. Echo is very unpredictable, but has very little manoeuvrability once she's set her dial and decloaked.

Forget all these, it's totally the Lambda, Trandoshan Party Bus and HWK.

...

Serious suggestion: TAP is a nice, nimble blocker. Valen is the Imps 'sort of' Jake.

Zeta Ace with PTL and Engine.

Dash with engine upgrade is probably one of the most manoeuvrable large ships...his ability to move over asteroids freely adds something that other pilots can't do (well they can but you know what I mean). I think engine upgrade also makes him the fastest ship in the game if I remember rightly?

He also has the hard one turn, adding daredevil could mean he can spin on the spot, can't think of a way to allow him to boost as well as use daredevil as EI isn't available (like tycho can).

Yeah, different things.

Echo is the best at ending up where she wants to be, but she's not very good at changing her mind on where that is after she's seen what else is happening.

Leebo crew.
