Just now purchased my third Tie Interceptor pack. I love interceptors, and more recently have started to warm up to the lower pilot skill options. What are a few lists that feature the lowly Alpha? I'm sure to someday try 5x alpha with AT, for instance.

As a note, I realize the lower skill ints aren't as competitive as the lord and master soontir fel. I also am not looking for that kind of performance either, I want to see what's possible using the interceptor as a regular ship of the line (of course still flying as well as I can, not just headlong into danger).

Mh I remember someone who did well at his Store Championships with 4 of them in his list and a Lambda Shuttle that has Fleet Officer. If I had to guess I'd say it looked like this:

Alpha Squadron Pilot (18) x 4

Omicron Group Pilot (28)
Lambda-Class Shuttle (21), Advanced Sensors (3), Intelligence Agent (1), Fleet Officer (3)

Intelligence Agent assits Barrel Roll blocks, doing a green manouver and using Advanced Sensors for the Fleet Officer prevents stress on the shuttle. The Fleet Officer helps to bolster the Alphas defense.

I can't explain this squad anywhere near as well as the guy who made it, let me see if I can find the thread.

I'd read that report, there is a lot you can take from it when building something with your own collection. If you want the exact same list you'll need another Interceptor expansion, a Shuttle and a Decimator for the Fleet Officer if you don't own those already.
