IThe Upcoming books section on this site says the second part of the Haarlock Legacy adventures is on the boat ... but unless I missed something huge this is no way near true? I've heard it said it will be released not before 2010.

I said it once and I am more then happy to repeat myself:
do not expect a book to come unless FFG posts a pic of the boxes inside their warehouse.
Anything else will lead to frustration.

Well, to be fair, they did have a printed copy on display at Games Day this year (in a locked cabinet mind), so its not too much of a stretch, but given that it usually takes 3-4 weeks for an item they assign the "On The Boat" icon to switch to a "Shipping" icon, and then another fortnight for the item to physically appear, we probably are talking about January next year...
This kind of surprises me. This is the 21st century, why does it have to take so long?
My FLGS never knows when they will receive the shipments, Amazon continually lists false dates ... it appears like the books are held up forever in the grinding wheels of some labyrinthine Administratum bureaucracy!

Well, I guess the moral of the story is:
"Don't be worked up about release dates. Be patient, and the books will turn up."
It's not an easy one to stick to, but since the only other option is to get annoyed, I think it's for the best.
Are they printed in China? I have no idea how long it takes a cargo ship to travel from China to the US, but 4 weeks doesn't seem long.

LOL, uh yeah, thats what we've been saying... everyone is just trying to work out exactly what the boat is doing and how long its going to take to get off the boat and into the shops....

I am really surprised someone from FFG has not blamed warpstoms yet for the release schedule and shipping delays.
