Bombing Miranda + Zs

Hey!

What are your opinions on this list:

Miranda Doni + TLT + Sabine + Extra Munitions + Advanced SLAM + Proton Bombs + Conner Net (50)

2 Bandits (24)

2 Talas (26)

I want a list that does well against Palp aces mainly and is kind of OK against Scouts. What I thought is that if i manage to get an ace in conner and then drop proton next round it should hit the target for 4 damage total, including last one is a crit. Also Zs should do pretty well against scouts as they have a chance to live through one torp shot which is basically a wasted torp for a scout.

Opinions? :)

What happens if you run into Palp/Aces and can't get him to obligingly fly into a Conner Net? ;) You could very quickly get eaten alive.

Have you considered replacing the TLT with an ion? Then at least you know where he'll be and can more easily dump the Net right in his path. Not sure how well it will work, but it might be better.

ASLAM Nets are basically Ace-kryptonite. You don't even have to line it up on the first manoeuvre, you get to see exactly where you land and then make the call to move again before throwing the Net in their face.

Also ALWAYS TLT on Miranda. I don't usually have black/white views on loadouts but her ability works so incredibly well with the TLT that any other turret is really not worth the points by comparison (although Budget Doni with an Autoblaster is okay for throwing 3 unblockable red dice at Range 1, but still expensive and doesn't have quite the ROI of a basic Y-Wing with the same turret. Plus Miranda can already bump to a 4ATK Primary at R1, which can make the AbT redundant in many cases).

That said, as far as the list goes, I like it a lot but I feel you could get more out of Sabine. She's doing good work with Miri, that's no lie, but you could also trade in the two Bandits for a Gold Y-Wing if you wanted more mileage out of her ability.

Same total HP but you get a solid Ace-threatening blocker instead of two mediocre blockers.

I love my Zeds though so I can understand the appeal of throwing four of them at your opponent. Especially the Talas against Jumpmasters at the moment.

Wow - that Gold really looks good on this build! It has also made me think about putting Sabine in B-Wing and getting bombardier on Miranda for some more flexibility with protons. Thanks for feedback Tsiegtiez!
