The Z´s acting like the anvil with dengar being the hammer, flown like an oversized super-ace. Use big asteroids to make blocking even more likely, clutter the area of your choice with them and lure the enemy in. Keep Dengar in the back and let the Z´s do their work before he gets into the thick of it.

+ blocking possibilities

+ force a choice on the opponent: dengar or the Z´s?

+ 5 ships

+ good hp

+ dengar

- ps1 Z´s mean you shoot last

- No initiative bid

- its just Z´s

- ?

what other weaknesses do you see? do you like the list? how would you fly it? does it have potential? :)

Hmm how about add EU to Dengar of cost one of Z's add to rest Feedback Array and Glitter on Dengar too. I think it would be nice i think lot's of dmg. Only issue it is pirats have low PS.

Yeah, it's only Super if it has EU. Significantly improves his mobility and survivability.

You can try the 4x version and the 3x version. It all comes down to how well you operate with the Zs.

Super Dengar just is not worth the cost.

I've seen someone fly that exact list. It does pretty good if you're confident blocking with the Z95's. Currently I'd list PS1 as an advantage given the number of aces and U-boats in the meta.

I thought about putting an EU on Dengar and have the list you suggest tested, Sorenter. Three Z with arrays are quite fun as well and can take a not too careful soontir out in one turn.

The downside of that suggestion is that you put even more points into Dengar, which makes him all the more important for the performance of your squad. It can work out quite well, but for me personally I like to have a little bit more Mass and a little less dependancy on just one key ship. The punishing one is still the key to victory on many occasions, but four Z can be just as sturdy and can dish out quite some damage if left unattended. Both 3 Z with array and 4 Z without have up- and downsides, so i guess it all really comes down to personal preference or playstyle.

Jmiahddixon, that is why I made him a bit cheaper. If that makes him lose his "Super" title, that is ok with me :D

CRCL, to make blocking easier I prefer big asteroids and place them with the ones my opponent puts down, so I can make at least one side of the board a tightly packed asteroidfield.

You can trade out a Pirate to give all your other pirates Concussion Missles and Guidance Chips, which will make it easier to chew through the hull of a Uboat or Palp Shuttle. Statistically, Cluster Missles and Concussion Missles each average 4 hits with guidance chips, so it is up to your personnal preferance.
