Bomber Escort Imperial Veterans

So came up with this little gem. I like the idea of some extra maneuverability on the bomber. I also had this down to Deathfire with cluster mines. In that build Fire becomes blocker and mine layer along with an unexpected long range threat.

I am not sure targetting computers give you very much on the Interceptors. I would go for stealth devices instead. Downside is that you need 6 points for both and you only have 5 available. I would swap Fel over to a Stealth device, even if you leave Turr with a targetting computer.

I disagree. However, it is a matter of preference.

The only reason I'd drop a Target Comp from this list is to give Bren better ordnance. Specifically, it might be worth dropping Turr's TC to upgrade the flechette torps into Proton Torps on Bren. Turr gets fewer opportunities to take target lock than Fel does. However, you could leave it as is and see how the flechettes work for you (I just feel more damage potential will prove more useful for this type of list).

To keep Bren from getting murdered early, I strongly suggest using Turr aggressively. His ability can keep him alive versus lower PS stuff. Meanwhile, Fel can mosey into the fight from a flank.

The Target locks are gold in this believe it or not. I ran a modified version with Rhymer and Adaptability was solid all around as opens is dared to joust with the bomber or risk the Intercepters flanking in.

Run Against Palp shuttle with Soonter Fel and Inquisitor, basically tore them down, did lose Turrets early but so much firepower from Rhymer didn't matter.
