Some new troopers are coming in the comics.

These guys look awesome.
And as cool as they'd be as regular enemies, these guys seem like the best place to start on an Imperial campaign where these guys are the player 'heroes.'

Anyone have stats for these guys?
I'll probably be throwing them in the Homebrew thread after I've read the comic. ![]()
These guys look cool, but this Jorge Molina guy must be a big fan of Destiny.
Why have a scout who isn't using a Scout getup, or at least a Scout helmet?
Looks like the Helghast designs from Killzone. Always hated glowing lights on battlefield troops. Just screaming for someone to put a blaster shot through those fancy devices.

This. Yes please.
Seems like we'll at least run through all the Original Trilogy stuff first. Then maybe Force Awakens or Rouge One stuff. Only after that would I expect "Extended Universe" stuff based on things like comics and Star Wars Rebels.
Super cool concept art though! Thanks for sharing.
I am mystified: why would the (presumably anti-armour) bazooka guy need especially powerful fists, knees and headbutts? Classic comic book industrial design ![]()
these concepts look awesome.
they look like they are a cross between Star wars and Infinity by Corvus Belli
These look so bad ass hope they come in IA. Maybe as imperial heroes
and play a campaign vs the rebels ![]()
Imperial Commando, here we come!
Seriously though, these guys would be ****ing awesome in a video game. They should have been the classes in the new Battlefront instead of using a loadout system.

Because Games Workshop's little boy mentality in design. It all looks quite silly and not at all in character with Star Wars.

My opinion as well. They don't feel like star wars designs. I said Helghast, others have said Descent, but I'm sure there are a lot of other similar designs in games/comics. Bottom line, you need jet packs on just about everyone, scouts need to be hand to hand combatants (like those tiny knives would do much against armor), and bazookas mean fatty. Seems silly to me.
They look cool. Only ones I'm not crazy about are the Scout and Pilot.
Would be awesome if FFG made rules to play campaign the other way around. Play as some Stormtroopers or Royal Guards and build up as you fight the pesky rebels.
Maybe I'm over thinking this, but I think a main weapon switch between the Heavy and the Demo is in order. If you're a heavy brawler with a shock punch weapon, it would be a pain in the bum to leave hand to hand, leaving those enemies free to attack your friends, go somewhere else, set up and aim the bazooka, and wait for allies to clear the blast zone.
Meanwhile, the Demoman is expected to be very close to the enemy with his flamethrower, which may not be where you want a lightly armored support troop who should probably be focusing on chucking grenades, setting charges, and watching for enemy aircraft (with his rocket launcher).
Solution: give the rocket launcher to the Demoman and the flamethrower to the heavy. The heavy can stay in melee range and Demoman can get safely away from the thick of the fight.
Source: I've played way too much Xcom and have put a lot of thought into ideal load outs for sci-fi infantry for different roles...
The more I look at this, the more retarded it is.
We've already seen ALL of these roles.
Heavy weapons are the e-web gunner. You don't have to be some insane body builder to carry a slightly heavier weapon, nor do you need to store your shotgun shells over your heart.
We've seen pilot armor, it's black for one thing, being a pilot doesn't make your thighs extra thin, nor does it make any sense to give you TWO pistols when you're unlikely to even use one.
Sniper cloak... wow... really? WTF is that supposed to do other than say "HEY, I'M A SNIPER!" Durrrrr!
Scout... we've seen scout armor, it's not this. They don't use useless knives. They don't have lots of useless little throwing knives on them, THEY HAVE GUNS. These are elite troops in heavy combat armor meant to fight heavy targets, they are not ISB agents in plain cloths infiltrating soft targets. Hurrrr duuurr.
Sarge... because in order to sell more toys, everyone has to have special armor!
Demolitions... see that special strip of stuff protecting a little bit of each arm and leg? Makes the whole armor totally bomb proof! Also, flamer, because we ran out of people to give it to and someone has to have one because they look cool in all those WW II movies back before things like laser guns and guided missiles got invented.
Tech... the eyes glow blue because the suit still runs Windows and it's crashed. There is no reason for the eyes to glow blue. It is retarded. There is no reason for the little head light either. Also, we've seen jetpacks, this doesn't look like them. Presumably they use jetpacks rather than anti-grav so they can operate in space, hence the pilots also have them. *clap clap clap* you got one thing right. However, I'm going to ignore that because why the hell do their heels glow, is this some "so we can sell the toys to people that like Air Jordans?" This is retarded.
stuff
The salt is strong with this one...
Surprise! The new villains in a *comic* in one of the least internally consistent sci-fi universes have ridiculous outfits.
There's definitely no awards for originality in order here, but that doesn't change the fact that it would be fun to play as these games in IA or potentially a video game.
I think someone who plays Frist Person Shooters too often designed these.
