Lurtz's WIP Rebellion Modification.

By Lurtz, in Star Wars: Rebellion

Im working on a pretty ambitious project to get Rebellion to function more like the old Freedom in the galaxy game. Or at least in some respects, my goal is to take what I like from both games and combine them for a better overall experience for myself.

The major elements from the original FiTG game that I want to incorporate here are the expanded RPG elements (Primary to that is deciding characters have a physical location instead of being allocated each turn)

A somewhat deeper combat experience that aims to be more fun but still fast paced and easy to process. (my main inspiration here will be forbidden stars)

While I have quite a few things being worked out for the moment id like to just share my new imperial dashboard to get any feedback you guys/gals can give me.

This will be a 16" by 10" dashboard and obviously it has a few differences from the original.

In regards to the stormies the blue square with the destroyer is supposed to signify that when you buy a destroyer you receive 1 legion of stormies like a bundle deal.

Let me know your thoughts.

The dashboard will be sixteen feet by ten feet!!!??? Geez, how big is the actual board going to be, and what stadium will you find to play it in?

;)

XD har har har.

Seriously though,

I'm not familiar with any of the games you are drawing inspiration from (for that matter I haven't player rebellion yet), so I really can't comment meaningfully, other than to say that I love house rules and amateur game design and making strategy games BIGGER and MOAR EPIC!!!!!!

I also love house rules! and making things more epic. or at least have more going on (not always a good thing)

I loved rebellion, I just thought it was to simple for my taste.

I hope you try rebellion soon :)
