Does anyone know how these two cards would interact?

Kanan says Once per round, after a friendly ship at Range 1-2 executes a white maneuver, you may remove 1 stress token from that ship

Lightning Reflexes says After you execute a white or green maneuver on your dial, you may discard this card to rotate your ship 180°. Then receive 1 stress token after the "Check Pilot Stress" step.

Can the Kanan crew card clear the stress from the Lightning Reflexes all in the same turn?

You would do the 180 turn before completing the maneuver and kanan seems like he would trigger after the completion of the maneuver and if its a white maneuver he could then clear stress.

My initial thought is that the cards trigger at the same time (after executing the maneuver), so you can pick the order of resolution. Kanan could therefore clear the stress gained with Lightning Reflexes.

However, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, it looks like Lightning Reflexes is actually slightly out of sync with how things work under TFA rules. The "Check Pilot Stress" step is now included in the process of "executing a maneuver", so technically that step has come and gone by the time Lightning Reflexes triggers.

Since now executing a maneuver has 3 sub steps, one of which is check pilot stress, Kanan should be able to clean the stress after the maneuver is completed.

In addition don't forget that even if both effects trigger at the same time "after executing a maneuver" in this case, the player chooses the order of the effects.

So you should be able to first chose to take the stress and then clear it with Kanan.

DR4CO is absolutely right. LR is worded according to the old rules. It is clear you get the stress after check pilot stress, which is now part of executing the maneuver. So LR would trigger before Kanan. Alternately if the cerd is changed to just give stress after executing the maneuver, then you choose the order. Either way Kanan can remove the stress.

Also should, interestingly enough, work on Daredevil.

Are you saying Lightning Reflexes should work with Daredevil? Because that's true. But Kanan can't clear the stress from Daredevil. There was a big thread about this a while back, I'll see if I can find it.

It's clear that Lightning Reflexes needs an errata before it rips a hole in the space time continuum.
