Wave Escalation League Format

Credit goes to my friend Beau, but I setup the Wave structure.

So for this league you play standard 100 pt dogfights but with restricted list building. Each week you gain access to a new wave of ships for list building purposes (with some tweaks to allow for ship fixes and Scum. So here's the Wave structure:

Wave 1
*Core Set, X-wing, TIE Fighter, Y-wing, TIE Advanced
*Imperials: x1 title and ATC are available
*Rebels: Integrated Astromech is available
*Scum: Most Wanted and Scyk expansions are available, only Z-95 and Scyk are available

Wave 2
*Millenium Falcon, Slave 1, A-wing, TIE Interceptor
*Scum: Y-wing and Firespray are available

Wave 3
*HWK-290, Lambda, B-wing, TIE Bomber
*Scum: Khirazx expansion, HWK-290 available

Wave 4
*Z-95, TIE Defender, E-wing, TIE Phantom, Imperial Aces, Rebel Transport, CR-90
*Scum: Starviper and Mist Hunter expansions

Wave 5
*YT-2400, Decimator, Rebel Aces
*Scum: IG-2000 expansion

Wave 6
*Most Wanted, Scyk, StarViper, and IG-2000 expansion cards become available to all factions

*Wave 7
Hound's Tooth, K-wing, TIE Punisher, Imperial Raider
Khirazx expansion becomes available to all

*Wave 8
2nd Core Set, T-70 X-wing, TIE/fo, Ghost, TIE Advanced v1, Punishing One, Gozanti
Mist Hunter expansion becomes available to all

Are you limited on upgrade cards too or just the ship types?

Are you limited on upgrade cards too or just the ship types?

Both. Scum has early access to upgrades in a few of their expansions, particularly Wave 1. Mostly this serves to reinforce their uniqueness versus Rebel/Imp ships.
