I had fun as a Bounty Hunter! Well done umpires, well done ball-boys.

Overall pretty pleased. Won 2, got to play vs. the infamous clonisher.
Had fun following this, and getting on game in as a bounty hunter. Bravo!
Ditto what everyone has been saying. Thoroughly enjoyed playing even if it was just as a lowly mercenary. Got two games in so that was great. Thanks Mattshadowlord for the genius and CaribbeanNinja for making go smoothly.
Wooden spoon. Score!
Thanks for organising guys. Think I'll be trying a more conventional build next time.

Nail some Power Cables to the Ice and then storm about all passive-aggressively?
If it's your first night on Echo Base... you HAVE to gut a tauntaun and sleep in it.
During this event I heard some discussion about the impact of card restrictions hitting Imperials harder than Rebels
Were the restrictions really much of a factor in the results?
And if they were, would that be bad thing?
Edited by MattShadowlordA good observation, and a good question. ![]()
On the forums, you sometimes see players complain about the lack of Demolisher/Rhymer equivalent for the Rebels, and I'd hazard that more than 1 in 5 Imperial lists have either Demolisher or Rhymer in them. I'd say the restrictions in this tournament perhaps swung that perceived imbalance the other way, and were a factor on the result.
But it was by no means a bad thing. This tournament got a lot of players to try different things, both in fleet builds and play-style, and the final result was actually pretty close. Plenty of after-action reports suggested that the game hung on a single pivotal moment (as is often the case in Armada), which again speaks volumes for the competitiveness of the Imperial lists being played.

- One Demolisher per 5 imperials.
- One Major Rhymer per 5 imperials.

I do think the biggest loss was Demo (which while is rarely a Centerpiece has been in EVERY successful list of mine) followed by Superfriends, rhymer was actually a minor issue in my mind as he actually isn't that broken he justs amplifies And add flexibility to a Wing with Squadron supremacy (normally provided by superfriends) I also think the restriction of the admirals hurt us more as it further gutted several strategy's when you couldn't have Screed For the auto crits or motti for the extra tankiness. Vader and Tarkin are just to expensive.
Rebels have Better generic stuff (mostly TRCs and A-wings/b-wings) so it was possible for multiple players to run similar lists without much loss of effectiveness in them.
. And if they were, would that be bad thing?
I added list admirals and archtypes to cnijas final placement list
This is by no means scientific, since there were many bounty hunters contracted throughout, but I had the info and wanted to post it. If this was a "regular" tournament, Dorrin314 took 1st place!
Player (Tournament Points/MOV)
Dorrin314 (28/ 1142) ackbar swarm (trc)

JRockNZ (3/ 0) Vader 3 ship
I still think I am ahead of Ginkapo. He has 407 MOV to my 619.
Demo and e lack of Rhymer hurt many Imperial played. I am more curious as to how many Demolisher and Rhymerball lists lost in his tournament.
Here's Imps only:
Player (Tournament Points/MOV)
Doobleg (24/ 567)Motti, Superfriends
CaribbeanNinja (23/ 653)demsu
Clontroper5 (21/ 396)Demsu

JRockNZ (3/ 0) Vader 3 ship
Some interesting notes,
Admiral Score:
Screed (57 points, 1188)
Motti ( 52, 1100 mov)
Tarkin (45, 423 mov)
Ozzel (32, 138 mov)
Vader ( 22 points, 421 mov)
I am looking at more, what lists with Rhymer and Demo won and lost and what where their average scores.
We can already see Cninja and Clon who won all their games with little issue. How did everyone else do?
Rebels by Admiral:
Mothma ( 53, 764 mov)
Ackbar (51 points, 1432 mov)
Doddona ( 51, 1017 mov)
Garm (48, 847 mov)
Reeikan ( 37, 709 mov)
Contrast to the imperials the Rebels have fairly low Deviance in Admiral Score and especially apparent in MOV

In response to Lyr
Demo has the same score as screed (57/1188)
Rhymer is 37/to much math

MM FTW!
Another fun tidbit
There were 4 fleets with 3+ trcs (what I consider spam) which earned a total of 69 points, which is an average of 17 points.
An average only surpassed by the 1st place admirals from each side (mothma 18, screed 19)

For Rebels, Jaina's Light had 55 points on 3 lists, averaging 18.3 for the tournament.
