Just to confirm, bounty hunters don't have to share the unique upgrades from Wave 3? I'm assuming so as we have to share the Commander already...

Correct, you're both independent free agents.

With your access to unique cards as limited as it is, you might as well loot whatever you like from it.

may I suggest the Bounty hunters have access to the rogues and villains since you know... They are bounty hunters

Since he's a friend we'll mostly be playing for fun, but anyone who finds high speed annoying and fast moving objects a little too blurry is welcome to come watch.

From the placement I knew a two ship build was going to be tough to fly...(again...Honestly, I don't know why I do this to myself) Neb B spread his ships along the bottom all facing me, Dodonna on his far right, taunting me. ( I pictured him cackling...Dodonna, not Neb B). I placed Vader's ISD 2 facing Big D and the ISD 1 towards the other C90s. Admonition and a yt were biding there time in Hyperspace. Round one we jockeyed and banked tokens as most players do. Second round I sent in bombers on Donny's front grill and took out the shields and did a hull, but the ISD 2 shot was underwhelming even after Vader shenanigans. Meanwhile the ISD 1 decided to turn into the front arc of all three CR90's. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Third round saw Admo pop in and make me decide between saving my ISD 1 or killing Donna, so I took the logical choice and attacked the CR90 front with no shields. I did a measly 2 dmg when 3 would have killed him and the bastard scooted off, with his insane maniacal laugh (****, it haunts my dreams), but there was hope. I still had Rymer and 2 bombers that could get him next round if I had a squad command. Round 4 and I didn't have a squad command, navigate was up since I thought I'd have to move that round. Oh well, Ill just place Rymer and the boys and let them activate first the next round. Neb B's YT's had other plans and stuck the mini-ball there the rest of the match. On the other front, the ISD took a massive shot in the gut from the Torpedo frigate and then flew into the jaws of trc piranhas to die later that turn. We pretty much ended it by squads at this point since the ships were all out of position to kill anything.

Overall, I want to say that I lost this match because Neb B was a better admiral. He flew the swarm brilliantly and his placement forced me to make the horrible decision to split my fleet which he took apart piece by piece. I learn something from every battle (well, not the space pickles battles...that was just silliness), and this was a great learning experience. I hope to face Neb B in the future.

Unfortunately I don't think we have a vlog of it.

I got lucky with Dodonna (he is not cackling, its more like a nervous laughter due to being on a flimsy ship not befitting his status as admiral). As for the massive shot, 4 blacks and 2 blues managed a grand total of 2 damage after tokens. More nervous laughter on the Jainas bridge. The shot before that was better, though.

Unfortunately I don't think we have a vlog of it.

I have captured Bothan spies and am working on it...

JJ took first player and took my contested outpost. I started placing obstacles in opposite sides of the map hoping to stick the station in one of my corners... after placement of rocks and debris i was able to stick the station in the corner of the left side of the map as close to distance 5 as possible... my plan was to deploy Tarkin at speed 2 and , get to the station turn one, and have the glads follow closely in Tarkin's wake... i think the combination of objective and my list made deployment straightforward for me... just clump it altogether in the corner and aim for the station... JJ put dodonna on the outskirts on the right side, and his mc30s line abreast sort of on the leftish side of the map and aimed for the station...

round 1, Tarkin hands out eng tokens and gets to station just in time for high tea... his entourage using navs, quickly forms up in his baffles, sort of in an imperial conga... Dodonnas fleet picks up speed and makes for the station, strategically positioning for attacks in the coming turns

round 2 Tarkin's captain uses a last second nav command and extra yaw to avoid tarkin's tea being spilled and turns into the station for 1 more croissant, battle it would seem, wets Tarkin's appetite... his entourage takes position just to his rear to catch would-be attackers after they move next turn... Dodonna has positioned an mc30 perfectly in front of tarkin for a nasty double arc... this is going to hurt... and without endangering any other ship. he also left admonition in a catch position in blue range should Tarkin move before admonition does next turn... spot on

round 3 An MC30 rips into the ISD with its EL front arc first. a respectable blast for sure, but not enough to convince the usage of brace against intel officer... redirects leave the hull intact... then the side arc opens up on Tarkin and we really start to feel it... using brace and redirect however is enough to keep crits off the hull and the MC slips past to the left where there are no glads waiting... 2 glads regen tarkins shields and move into a catch on the left side of Tarkin. Then Tarkin reveals a CF and fires into admonition in the wait, no matter how much the gunners manipulate the dice however, admonition takes only minor damage... he also takes a shot out the side at the passing MC30 and lands decent damage... Tarkin moves into admonitions black range on side arc only, and using newly gifted shields is able to once again keep damage off the hull, though losing the brace to a rather rude intel officer... Dodonna moves his last MC30, trying to save it for last to avoid having to move into a glad black range, tarkin had taken one for the team and activated third to allow the glad final say on the round... however, JJ is one hell of a pilot, and managed to avoid completely double arcs from both the ISD and glad, while sandwiching the MC30 between the two for both a double arc on the ISD and the Glad!! wish i had a screen shot, as it was pure beauty. Disappointed, the final glad activated and takes a bite out of the MC30s, throwing two damage on the hull through APT and ram.. the crit however is luckily Targeter Disruption rendering Dodonna's crit abilities null... this would turn out to be huge, since next turn that mc30 would have turned up 4 cards on ISD easily and would likely sink Tarkin's ship... without the crits and with Tarkin at full hull, destroying him was uncertain...

Round 4 crunch time for JJ, as he decides whether to destroy glad and survive, or try and take out Tarkin sans crits... this was a tough decision for him, and i think either would have been decent... He elected to blow up glad and save his MC30 and so the glad went down in flames spectacularly... however, trying to stay away from other glads proved difficult and the maneuver ended up ramming the ISD leaving the MC30 in its original position in the ISD's side arc, now with only 1 hull... next up a glad activates with an arc on one mc30 and another on admontion... side arc blasts away and finishes off one MC30, a decent trade for Tarkins fleet 71, vs 92 points.. front arc throws dice at admonition but is unable to land a crit... still admontion is starting to have some holes poked in it... the glad sails past admonition leaving it out of harms way only in a rear arc..., the corvette activates... then the TARKIN show starts... tarkin throws some reds at admonition and wears down some shields.... then turns attention to the hull 1 mc30 beside it... the mc30s facing shows 3 shields with 2 redirects available, Tarkin will need 5 damage with XI7 to punch through enough damage to kill the ship... with only 4 dice its a tall task for sure... 2 reds come out both accuracy, then 2 blacks come out hit and hit/crit... with both redirects blocked, the ordnance experts on board only need to reroll that one hit into a hit/crit and they are sure to get that juicy promotion... HIT/CRIT! and another MC30 bites the dust... tarkin sails just past an asteroid and Dodonna moves admontion, unfortunately, hes running out of space and admontion sails into the black side arc of the last remaining glad.... Glad activates with CF and pumps a massive amount of damage into Admonition sending it to the scrap heap, not before stripping Dodonna's flagship corvette of 4 shields with rear shot... The dice were the dark side this day...

Round 5,6 Dodonna escaped further punishment, and Tarkin's fleet attempted to make it to station for post combat daiquiri's unsuccessfully...

Very fun game against a very good opponent! JJ was a great sport and i look forward to our next match!

Good writeup. I knew I would be facing tons of black dice, but I really wanted to bag the ISD. In hindsight I should have just gone for the glads. I took a gamble not finishing off tarkin (which I had a good chance at doing), because if the MC30 had survived another round it would have been a big swing. The ram to avoid moving into the other glads range and only stay in the side arc of the ISD was intentional. I thought I could take one hit, but those unholy dice........
