For those not watxhing, Tycho has just taken out Demolisher and Xiphos single handidly. Unfortunately, he could not save Mon Mothma. It is suspected this may have driven him a rage that can only be quenched by killing a village* of (tuscan) raiders.

*A village of raiders is four.

Where is Biggs and twitch!

Mom in town, "Howlrunner"s family having a minor crisis and going to a friend's house for booze to forget about how much family togetherness we experienced today.

Ah, the memories...Sounds like every Christmas vacation. I feel for ya Biggs....

As a Portuguese that offends....wait...what the hell is a Lamington?

Lamington=Fancy Australian Moon Pie?

Lamington=Fancy Australian Moon Pie?

Being Australian... (And one of the rare people in the world with an allergy to Chocolate)...

I have no idea what a Moon Pie is.

Regardless, it is Off-the-Topics...

I'm actually really impressed with the way most of the games have been played so far. Even the runaway victories have had chances to slide here and there...

... Really wish I could be involved :(

If it makes you feel better, I REALLY wish I could paint my squads to look even a smidgen as good as your stuff....

I agree in wishing you could be as well.

I also agree (even with my severe partisanship) that the overall war has been and still is incredibly close. I think we're still behind the rebel scum but just a game.

Where do you live, where you are happy to play a game at 3am GMT, and also defend Britain as the inventor of the Lamington?

Well, traditionally, the Bledisloe cup is a Rugby Union Competition between Australia and New Zealand...

**** Kiwis.

Always trying to Claim the good thing as theirs (Lamingtons, apparently) and the Bad things as ours (Russel Crowe)...

Oh you mean the cup that was crafted in Sheffield. ENGLAND

I can see why you argue, easier than just admitting its all British.

Of course. Can't let the bloody poms have everything now...

Having successfully derailed the thread entirely, I now recall that is it Pavlova, not Lamingtons, that New Zealand claims as their invention.

My apologies.

Lamingtons are entirely Australian, and any resemblance to a British dessert are entirely the result of racial memory. They bear little to no relation to "Moon Pie".

Indeed, that's no moon. It's a Lamington.

But who owns Vegemite?

Satan.

(seriously, it's the Devil's own spread)

"Bounty hunters. We don't need their scum." - Admiral Piett

The Final Round will have all the 15 Rebel vs Empire games, plus two Bounty Hunter battles.

The Bounty Hunters will play for the Scum and Villainy debris fields at 6 O'clock. This means that the final round will be worth slightly more than the two preceding it, and with the score as close as it currently is this could make all the difference in the world.

Now that both have been previewed, Bounty Hunter fleets may feature the GR-75 or Gozanti, appropriate for their faction.

Bounty Hunters may only use named characters, unique cards and titles that are part of Armada Wave 3, and must use their appropriate Wave 3 admiral.

We will need Four bounty hunters for the final battles. They will be matched up randomly.

Bounty Hunters can be any player not currently participating in the Galactic Civil War, but first refusal goes to the following:

  1. Yfkes
  2. LTD (Bounty Hunter currently taking a Rebel contract)
  3. Gowtah
  4. WGNF911 (Bounty Hunter exclusively taking Imperial contracts)
  5. SanguinaryDan (Bounty Hunter exclusively taking Imperial contracts)

As captains of opposing teams, I will ask Biggs and Clontroper5 to please make the final decision regarding who is signed up to represent their factions. Lists should be submitted by Saturday midnight GMT, 14th May.

Happy Hunting!

DabDarklighter vs miferr ends with Dab winning 140-134, MOV = 6!

It came down to this in round 6:

Ozzel: "I guess we can't kill Salvation, so fire at that YT-2400!" Kill shot! Empire is winning!

Salvation: "Ozzel is still alive? Hmm...I guess we have one last shot on that TIE Fighter..." Kill shot! Rebels win!

It was a great, tense game where every move mattered. I look forward to playing Dab again!
