=THE GALACTIC CIVIL WAR= Massive Armada Tournament

Doobleg - Can you confirm what the score was at the end of the last complete round played?

Currently the score sits at 245 - 33 in my favour, MOV 212 for a score of 8-2.

To close this out we will offer concession at a score of 8-2 MOV 212.

However I hope you will give GreenSquad the honor of completing the match when he reappears online.

Green Squadron/Doobleg still have until May 1 (Sunday) to complete the match. I'd suggest holding off on this as GS may have been taking that into account before going into radio silence...

Fair enough, that offer will come into play Sunday.

CaribbeanNinja vs BiggsIRL

Pending vs DabDarklighter.

Who is team lead for Ruthless Strategist these days?

Aha, but what's the sector count? :)

Also, if any players are sitting on replays, please share with the class (some of us need all the help we can get). :D

The Imperials took 7 sectors, while the Rebels managed to take 8. It's a very close contest going in to Round 2.

not sure where to report this but we went ahead and played tonight. I lost 1 AF and my squads, he only had 1 Glad left and some squads left. Final score:

312 points for me

152 for him

so s/b an 8-2 win.

First blood to rebels.

Good job Hartley

Mothma's red corvette (Luke and co etc) against Tgalls VVG Tarkin Rhymerball

GK vs. Clon: tentatively Tuesday the 10th of May, 9 am (him)/6 pm (me), aka 4 pm GMT.

Tgall versus Ginkapo

Having stepped up as tribute, pleasantly surprised to have intiative and so took first player. Fleet ambush whilst not my ideal objective, lacking ordnance experts on the MC30's at least didnt have any scoring adjustments to hurt me.

Deployment went interestingly, with my Gallant Haven being completely outdeployed out of the majority of the game. And a victory placed directly where I wanted to zoom off after double tapping the gladiator! Shucks. Nevertheless, learnt my lesson and Mon Mothma sat nicely at the back of teh fight ready to congaline behind. (Mothma had a new balldress to try out)

First couple of turns were deadly. Foresight struggled to withstand the onslaught of bombers, but got two rams in on the gladiator before saying goodbye. Leaving the gladiator to shuffle up alongside the waiting Scout Torp. (Scott handing over to Alan as it were)

Scout torp and Jainas light made short work of the gladiator with TRC's. Which is fortunate as that was the only decent damage from the scout torp. Next turn brought a completely blank broadside on the flagship victory. Alas that meant the flagship was to be ignored for the rest of the fight.

Fortunately, the safely sitting at blue distance mothma was able to double arc the other victory three times in a row with TRC's to bring it crashing down.

Game finished 212 to 168 in my favour. 6-4 MOV 44.

Special mention to the YT2400 twins who managed to roll perfect 4's three times, including taking out a jumpmaster and TA in the first turn to really fustrate Dengar. No mention for Luke who spent most of the game running away wth 1 hull remaining.

Dead list:

Scott Tracy the chivalrous torpedo frigate

Alan Tracy the utterly useless scout frigate

John Tracy one of the YT2400 twins.

Good luck!

Ha ha!

I applaud the rebel victories in these "training runs". As you can see, official games do not begin until May 2nd. (Still May 1st GMT)

Pray I don't alter these terms further...

(Hey we're imperials...this is what we do...)
