Biological Enhancments

This can of worms has been opened by the RT book, but not really addressed as everyone fawns over ships. (Myself included)

Have any of you made anything new?

Personally, I disposed of the penalty on Best Quality Muscle Graft's Agility penalty, and instead assigned it to the poor quality version. Logically, a Best Quality one would be denser rather then bulkier, or contain exotic polymers that expand and contract with greater force then muscle fibers.

Archeobiotechnology:

Pit Organ: This sensory enhancment allows the subject to sense heat emitting objects, even in total darkness. Treat as Preysense goggles.

Haemological Filter: This enhancment to the kidneys allows for improved filtration of impurities from the bloodstream. +30 to Toughness tests vs Disease or Poisons.

This is not very relevant, but the five senses trope is a bit of a myth as we actually have several more, including a heat sense. It's often lumped in with touch but isn't really the same, as you can tell the difference between lifting a mug and burning a finger. Just put your hand near a radiator to test this. Heat sense goggles take the premise of translating something like heat sense into a more developed (and therefore more detailed) media such as vision. There are others too such as pressure and balance.
