For audio quality you might try some tweaks and filters to improve things: I suggest poking around with the Noise Reduction filter in Audacity (which is free and multi-platform), or numerous other tools.

Another really helpful thing to have on podcasts is MP3 chapter markers, these allow you listeners to tell where you're discussing what (i.e. you could have a section for each map and the intro and outro of this episode).
