So, when building a list with Poe, if you are at 99 points and all you have left is Pope's EPT, do you take VI and go to PS10 or go with Adaptability for PS9 and slight shot at initiative? I'm thinking if you have other pilots at PS6 or PS3, initiative can help vs some popular lists.

VI is nice if you see a lot of Soontirs around because he'll have less info for post maneuver shenanigans. Adaptability is nice for intiative bid but lots of Uboat builds are going lower than 99 for an initiative bid in the mirror match so it might not be worth it.

99 isn't a good enough bid when that 1 point can get you PS10 with Poe, so go VI on Poe.

Unless something else in your build really needs to win the bid, that is.

Yeah VI for ps10 is better than the 1point bid.

If you are ok with PS8 then there are all the disposable 1pt epts to play with. Crackshot, Lightning Reflexes, Adrenaline Rush.

Wired will help you out when you need to do the Talon Rolls and K-turns.

Adaptability if you have PS7s in your list and you can therefore use it to improve you activation phase if there aren't any enemy PS9s or 8s.

Otherwise VI.

I've been trying to come up with a good Poe 77 list just for that, but there aren't enough PS7 ships that I like.

Cool Hand can be nice on Poe the first time you need to pull a red maneuver.
