Deathfire Question

So, Deathfire's ability reads as above. Does this mean that I can choose to drop a bomb that would normally be considered an action as soon as I reveal my dial? So, essentially, all bombs (mines included) can now be dropped on your dial reveal, rather than mines being an action, and bombs being a dial reveal? I just wanted to know for clarification.

Yes.

Thanks sir.

Dropping a bomb such as prox mines is still an action for death fire, but his ability grants him the opportunity to drop it as a free action on the dial reveal (or after an action). It's sort of like a bomb specific version of advanced sensors that doesn't cost you your regular action.

Is this one of the new cards in Imperial Veterans?

Is this one of the new cards in Imperial Veterans?

Yes, it was previewed in the new article today, along with Systems Officer.

There are a couple threads discussing them.

Thanks! Just got back and haven't had a chance to read the new release.

Broadly this is true, but you still wouldn't be able to drop an action bomb on dial reveal if Deathfire is stressed, because it's still an action. Other than that, go nuts.

Deathfire and Deathrain need to start a James Taylor cover band. And/or we need a TAP pilot whose callsign is DeathSunnyDaysThatIThoughtWouldNeverEnd.

Surely the callsign would be "Sunny Days That I Thought Would Never Die."
