Yes, this post is half tongue in cheek, while reading teh Tannhauser rules, it got me thinking: If I wanted to make wfrp3 a boardgame, how would I go about doing that?

Dont role-play and let the dice decide everthing.
Get your hands on some good old HeroQuest or Advanced HeroQuest for "mapping" and miniatures. Descent is a good choice too but if you would go with that I think you just might have the most expensive boardgame ever.
Actually. That's not even true. I saw a 3d version of Settlers of Catan. Costed over 300€...
Basically you roam through the Old World, kill monsters, meet strangers, gather henchmen/followers, follow quests, find (magic) objects, advance your character... well, Talisman, Runebound, Descent are all fine templates and mechanics of all these games can be used to create a true "WFRP" board game. If one has enough time and dedication of course!
