Imperial Veterans Bomber Article

I'm 100% sure you meant Push the Limit on the Inquisitor. The Shuttle moves, give the Inquisitor a Target Lock, he uses the Title to take a free Evade, Pushes to Boost or Barrel Roll before his movement, does a green move to clear the stress, then Focuses.

i did, i edited it, just not fast enough... also once the Inq is out too far for the shuttle Colzet has a flyin buddy.

Not gonna lie, I am liking the Tactician/Systems Officer combo on a Baffled Shuttle. Especially for just two points for the SO. Might make Patrol Leaders happy in the right setup, too.

Yes, with a big asterisk: that Range 1 leash on the Lambda is a big hurdle for a lot of ships, and it probably won't be reliable once the first pass is done.

Definitely not super reliable, but hear me out: what if you run two shuttles like that. Fly them up in tandem and you've got two 3ATK TL+F guns, with 20HP total, and you've got another 48 points to spend. The Baffles really helps those things stay in the fight, too.

I'll have to try it out before I start the proselytizing but I've got a good feeling about it.

Or spend one more point per ship and getting Gunner/FCS instead... yeah... no...

The TIE Shuttle with Systems Officer looks like a solid buddy for those TIE Advanced that aren't Vader but still want to roll with ATC.

I really want to fly one with Kir Kanos but it's hard not to think of the TIE Shuttle as a 22-26 point PTL substitute for him.

Inquisitor, ptl, thrusters, v1, procket (34)

Rexler Brath, x7 (35)

Mix and match Rexler's load out by editing the procket but staple tomax to rexy and we get a shuttle with focus evade, rex with focus focus evade target lock, and the Inquisitor flanking as always. All at ps8 too so activation is great.

*A glimpse into the future*

Wave 37 announcement: "If you thought DeathMountain was scary in his Tie Interfraxtor, wait until you meet DeathDrizzle and the new Tie Acupuncturist!"

(..)

Ept doesn't really matter outside arush for 5k roll plop out conners, which will now sadly never happen

Edit fat finger typo

System officer is obviously best buds with lieutenant Colzet. They probably play cards on the weekends.

Death fire with conners extras (is the only way to fly) is...23 points.

Unreliable since he can't "joust" like death rain but far far cheaper. Might be okay. Same PS as uboats; will shut them down with initiative bid + conners

Deathfire can do a 3-turn + Barrel Roll toward the opposition + mine drop, which puts the mine pretty much straight in front of DF's initial position, about 5 range away. It's not as good as Deathrain, but it is way, way cheaper.

System+fleet bombers now are a crazy way to enable some almost good pilots.

Kir Kanos now can boost attack with that evade token and still get modification.

Omega ace now has super access to a focus+evade.

As stated earlier, single action atc tie advanceds don't feel awful anymore.

I'm sure there are others.

Sure, but I plan on teaming up with Deathrain and Deathfire to blow enemy aces out of the water before they activate. Just drop double Proximity Mine right on top and watch the fireworks. Because why "some bombs" when "more bombs"?

Ka-powsers!

ALL THE DEATH!!!

If you rain Dethfire and Deathrain in the same list, you could call that list Adele... ("set fire to the rain...")...

There's got to be a "Dethklok" list with these two ships as well.

3 phantoms each with systems officer. It could happen. It could be epic. How many veterans packs am I gonna need though? Ugghhhh money money.

That's cool, but HOW MUCH DO GLAIVE SQUADRON PILOTS COST?

FFG pls

From the article (bolded section for emphasis):

December's announcement of the pack received a fantastically enthusiastic response from the fan community, many of whom were particularly impressed by its introduction of two new Title cards for the TIE defender. Still, the expansion has a lot to offer the TIE bomber, as well, and that is where we start our previews.

34 is a good guess and a reasonable number. I'm curious what the other pilot ability is.

For that list?

Can someone go ahead and photoshop a version of Systems Officer where he is flipping the bird? How bout flying horns?

I wish there was an Extra Munitions upgrade in there...

For fun:
