Wookiee Guardian Action card

By DirtyScoundrel, in Star Wars: Rebellion

I have a question regarding the Wookiee Guardian Action Card. In order to use this do I need to have my Chewbacca leader available in the leader pool? It says nothing about moving the leader (Or anything about a leader for that matter) into the system and the thought of keeping my strongest spec ops leader in waiting for this special to trigger seems like a waste of my strongest leader. Any second opinions would be helpful.

Thanks

That's one option. Another is to put him (mission, activation) in the system with the leader you want to protect the most.

To be clear you need Chewy in the system that the mission is being attempted in.

He can be there by:

1. Having performed a mission, activation or "blocked" a mission in that system earlier.

2. Being deployed from you leader pool to block this specific mission.

That being said, the Empires Spec Ops missions can be game changing so Chewy on defense isn't a bad thing.

He needs to be on the system already when the capture attempt is made... I don't think you can drop him in after the capture mission has been revealed to use it... Him being in your leader pool is no help at all!

No he does not. Him being in your leader pool is fine when they reveal the card is fine. Read step 4 of Revealing a Mission on page 9 of the rr.

Yup, I realise that. By going there to oppose he's in the system. The point is that you can't flip the action card and drop him in that way... When the dice are rolled he needs to be there.
