Patrol Leader and buddies.

I've been playing around with Patrol leader builds and this is the latest I've come up with.

Patrol Leader — VT-49 Decimator 40
Rebel Captive 3
Fleet Officer 3
Anti-Pursuit Lasers 2
Ship Total: 48

Black Squadron Pilot — TIE Fighter 14
Wingman 2
Ship Total: 16

Academy Pilot — TIE Fighter 12
Ship Total: 12

Academy Pilot — TIE Fighter 12
Ship Total: 12

Academy Pilot — TIE Fighter 12
Ship Total: 12

With Fleet officer two tie fighters can take evade actions, having two ties with focus/evades each turn will keep them alive much longer than they usually do.

Black squadron wingmans off the stress from the fleet officer to keep the deci moving. Decimator acts as a blocker with his APL.

If I flew against that I just wouldn't shoot at the TIEs that had two tokens... There are three other ships that won't get any extra tokens. Rebel captive is a good idea because the deci is the prime target, but I think I would still kill it first anyway.

The Ties while annoying may not be enough to take things down and with the Decision being the center support there is not really an immediate need to do anything but go after it.

Perhaps drop a tie or two for another ship to generate some kind of threat above pilot skill 4
